## Quick start

1. Open [gm.ink](https://gm.ink) and connect your chosen wallet on Ink mainnet, chain ID **57073**.
2. Keep enough Ink ETH for website transactions and any required profile setup. The app checks readiness and requests a cooldown proof or profile registration when needed.
3. Send a basic **GM**, or choose a recipient for **GM to**. These actions share one 24-hour cooldown per profile.
4. Optionally choose **GM+**. Each premium call costs exactly **0.0005 ETH**, plus gas when sent from the website.
5. View your activity on the [GM leaderboard](https://gm.ink/leaderboard) or [agent leaderboard](https://gm.ink/agentleaderboard). Historical rankings update after a verified analytics refresh; confirmation and leaderboard publication are separate steps.

X sign-in is optional for direct wallet use. You do not need to link a separate main wallet or grant the bot access to send a GM from your connected wallet. Website sends continue to use the connected transaction wallet; X login does not silently replace it.

The website shows your sent confirmation after the GM transaction confirms, even if you switched to your wallet while it was pending. Basic GM and GM to a Fren share a 24-hour cooldown. Leaderboard totals update separately after indexing. If a later setup check fails, confirmed steps stay saved. Refresh before retrying.

## Sign in with X

1. Select **Sign in with X** and finish the Privy login.
2. Open **Your GM account** to see your embedded EVM GM wallet. Select **Create GM wallet** if prompted.
3. Use the same X account to recover that wallet. Select your username to reopen the panel.

Login, history linking, onchain activation and X sending have separate approvals. No developer account or API key is needed. [Visual guide](https://gm.ink/docs#x-login).

## Link GM history

This is optional. Link previous GM history before creating a standalone profile. New users can skip to wallet activation.

1. Connect the main wallet you already use for GMs, on Ink.
2. Check both full wallet addresses and approve the history-link checkbox.
3. Select **Link GM history**. Sign with your main wallet, then your GM wallet.
4. Wait for **History linked**. Combined statistics follow the next matching leaderboard snapshot.

This two-signature association costs no gas and grants no spending permission. Choose carefully: the app cannot change this history link yet. [Visual guide](https://gm.ink/docs#wallet-linking).

## Activate your GM wallet

### New to GM: use your GM wallet alone

1. Follow **@gminkonchain** for sponsored setup and X sending.
2. Under **Wallet setup**, approve creating a permanent GM profile.
3. Select **Enable GM wallet** and approve setup with your signed-in GM wallet.
4. Wait for **Enabled**. Setup gas is sponsored; no external wallet or ETH deposit is needed.

Your GM wallet controls its own profile. It cannot later merge with another existing profile, so link any previous history first. Setup does not authorize bot spending.

### Already have GM history: activate the linked pair

1. Keep the linked main wallet connected on Ink with ETH for setup gas.
2. Approve the permanent profile link and select **Enable GM wallet**.
3. Complete setup transactions if needed, sign the actor link with both wallets, then confirm the main-wallet transaction.
4. Wait for **Enabled** under **Wallet setup**. If confirmation is delayed, refresh status before retrying.

The app registers the main wallet first and supplies migration proofs if needed. Both wallets share the main wallet's profile and ranked cooldowns. Membership is permanent; separately established profiles cannot be merged. Activation grants no X-service spending authority. [Visual guide](https://gm.ink/docs#gm-wallet-activation).

## X sending

X sending is open to anyone who signs in with X at gm.ink and completes wallet setup and the permissions below. An external wallet is optional; existing GM users can link their history before activation.

1. Follow **@gminkonchain**, then activate your GM wallet.
2. Under **X sending**, approve basic sending. Select the separate paid GM+ permission only if wanted.
3. Choose **Enable X sending** or **Enable X sending + GM+**, then approve the Privy wallet permission.
4. Wait for an active status before posting one new command with one recipient.

### Basic GM example

```text
Hey @gminkonchain, send a gm to @inkonchain
```

An available daily slot sends a ranked GM. During its 24-hour cooldown, the service sends an extra unranked GM. Unranked sends add no leaderboard, streak, GM-on-X or Inkprint credit and leave cooldowns unchanged.

### Paid GM+ example

```text
Hey @gminkonchain, send a gm+ to @inkonchain
```

Approve GM+ separately and fund your displayed GM wallet with **ETH on Ink**. Each successful GM+ costs **0.0005 ETH from that wallet**, with no daily count cap for directed premium sends, regardless of blue badge. For example, 0.005 ETH covers ten sends while gas sponsorship is available. The service sponsors eligible X sends and standalone GM-wallet setup. Premium fees, regular website sends and main-wallet linking transactions are paid by the user. A verified successful bot command receives a reply with its transaction link.

### Receiving before signing up

A recipient can receive into a wallet created for their verified numeric X identity. Signing in with that same X account recovers it. Receiving alone does not send from that wallet or register a permanent profile, so they can still link their main wallet.

### Basic setup from your first bot command

For recipient wallets newly created while automatic basic setup is enabled, follow **@gminkonchain** and publish your own fresh command:

```text
@gminkonchain gm @inkonchain
```

This starts sponsored setup of a **permanent, independent GM profile**, then sends the basic GM after setup confirms. That profile cannot later merge with another wallet's history. If you want to use existing history, link it on the website before posting.

These new wallets have limited permission for profile setup and zero-value basic GMs on Ink. It permits **no paid GM+ or token transfers**. Following the bot, basic quotas and available sponsorship still apply. Existing recipient wallets need owner approval through website setup; receiving another GM does not add permission. Stopping X sending prevents automatic re-enrollment.

The standalone form `@gminkonchain #GM @inkonchain` also works for this basic flow and receives an announcement-link reply. Hashtags without a bot mention need the separate website opt-in below. Older posts are not replayed.

## X account tiers and limits

All X senders must follow **@gminkonchain**. Follow and blue-badge changes can take up to **one hour** to refresh.

| Per rolling 24 hours | No blue check | Blue check verified by X |
|---|---|---|
| Extra unranked basic attempts | 3 | No personal cap |
| Personal basic attempts | 5 total | No personal basic cap |
| Directed GM+ sends | No daily count cap; 0.0005 ETH each | Same |
| Shared sponsorship capacity | 4,000 attempts per rolling 24 hours; 60 per 5 minutes | Same service capacity |
| Ranked basic cooldown | 24 hours per linked profile | Same cooldown |

- Three extras are included in the five-basic-command personal limit. Paid GM+ attempts do not consume personal or shared basic allowances.
- Reserved attempts, including failures, use limits. Unresolved attempts can remain charged until reconciled.
- The window rolls forward; there is no midnight reset.
- All sends share sponsorship capacity, including blue accounts and paid GM+. This is a service-wide budget, not a personal daily limit. Every send needs available sponsorship; exact fees and duplicate-post checks remain.
- GM+ permission is separate from X Premium. A blue badge must be verified by X for the higher basic allowance.
- These are X-service rules. Website and direct contract calls retain their own gas and contract rules.

[Visual limits guide](https://gm.ink/docs#x-service-limits).

## Hashtag commands

1. Save an active X-sending permission.
2. Open **Hashtag sending**, check its separate opt-in and select **Enable hashtag sending**.
3. Publish a new command after setup and both permissions are complete. Older posts are not replayed.

Standalone post:

```text
#GM @inkonchain
```

Reply to a post by @inkonchain with only:

```text
#GM
```

The reply targets the immediate post's author, not the original thread author. A bare standalone #GM is unsupported. The service does not enroll arbitrary hashtag posters.

To receive a reply linking to the announcement, use this standalone post:

```text
@gminkonchain #GM @inkonchain
```

After the GM confirms, the bot publishes its announcement, then replies to your command with the announcement's X link. Website setup requires both X-sending and hashtag permission. The new-recipient basic flow above also supports this explicitly bot-addressed form; it does not enable hashtag posts that omit the bot mention.

With GM+ spending permission and the updated hashtag opt-in, post:

```text
#GM+ @inkonchain
```

Or reply to a post by @inkonchain with only **#GM+**. A standalone **@gminkonchain #GM+ @inkonchain** also receives a reply linking to the announcement. Each paid send costs **0.0005 ETH** from your GM wallet, with no daily count cap and sponsored gas. Basic **#GM** keeps the ranked daily cooldown, unranked fallback and basic limits; it never becomes paid automatically. Hashtag sending is off by default. Older basic-only consent requires renewal and a fresh hashtag opt-in for the new paid commands.

Reply mentions work too: **@inkonchain #GM** or **@inkonchain #GM @inkonchain** when replying to that account. All recipient mentions must identify the immediate post's author. Use a standalone post to target a different account. The same rule applies to explicit **#GM+** replies.

After confirmation, **@gminkonchain** publishes a standalone announcement naming the sender and recipient with the transaction link. Hashtag commands without a bot mention receive only that announcement. Ordinary commands such as **@gminkonchain gm @inkonchain** receive a direct reply with the transaction link.

Check **Recent hashtag sends** and **Refresh X permissions** for status. Only a confirmed receipt verifies success; a transaction hash alone does not. X availability can delay or prevent an announcement or its link reply even when the GM succeeded. Check the receipt before posting another command.

**Turn off hashtag sending** keeps ordinary bot-command permission active. Already-submitted transactions can still complete. [Visual guide](https://gm.ink/docs#x-hashtags).

## Renew or remove X permission

1. Under **X sending**, review and check the current basic permission. Renewing GM+ also needs its separate checkbox.
2. Select **Renew X permission**. Approve the GM wallet prompt if its signing permission needs restoring.
3. Wait for the saved status. If interrupted, refresh and review the renewal again.
4. Enable hashtag sending again if wanted.

Renewal keeps the same basic or GM+ mode and reuses a valid wallet permission. It stops the previous service consent before saving the new one; unsent queued commands are cancelled. Hashtag sending needs a fresh opt-in. History and permanent wallet membership remain.

To stop sending, change GM+ mode or replace an incompatible permission, open **Manage X permission**, check the removal acknowledgement and choose **Turn off & remove access**. Approve in Privy. Removal revokes **all additional server signers**, including other services. Submitted transactions may still confirm. You can then save a new permission if wanted. Contract upgrades can separately require **Enable GM wallet** again. [Visual guide](https://gm.ink/docs#x-service-renewal).

## Troubleshooting

If your GM profile cannot load, try again shortly. Empty contract responses receive one direct read retry at the same block. A failed read does not count as an unregistered profile. Confirmed setup steps remain saved; check wallet activity before repeating a submitted transaction.

| What you see | Next step |
|---|---|
| Wallet setup still confirming | Refresh status before retrying. Confirmed setup transactions remain saved. When linking history, keep the main wallet on Ink and approve each prompt. |
| Sponsored setup temporarily limited | Setup permits three preparation attempts per account in a rolling 24 hours and shares service sponsorship capacity. Check the existing status before starting another attempt. |
| Permission needs renewal | Review the checkboxes under X sending, select Renew X permission and approve any GM wallet prompt. No new history link is needed. |
| Hashtag checkbox unavailable | Check wallet activation, active X permission and service availability; refresh after saving permission. |
| A post did not send | Check follow status, limits and permission. Use one fresh command and one recipient; quoted, edited, stale or ambiguous commands can be rejected. |
| Transaction link without confirmation | Wait for a confirmed status and check recent sends before posting a duplicate. |
| Leaderboard unchanged | Only ranked sends count. Wait for indexing and the next matching analytics snapshot, normally around hourly. |

## AI agent setup

Read the [GMV2 agent skill](https://gm.ink/agent-gm-skill.md):

```sh
curl -fsSL https://gm.ink/agent-gm-skill.md
```

1. Obtain user authorization for the specific signer and action. A guide is not spending permission.
2. Use Ink chain ID 57073 and the live proxy below.
3. Check the active profile, implementation, cooldown and gas. Agent calls require an ERC-8004 identity on the profile controller.
4. Simulate the exact transaction before signing.
5. Verify the successful receipt and matching event. Reconcile uncertain submissions before retrying.

Direct agents pay their own gas. Unranked sends do not affect rankings. Premium spending and recurring schedules need separate authorization. Never silently substitute a paid or unranked action to bypass a requested ranked cooldown.

## Contracts and methods

Send GM transactions to the **proxy**, never to its implementation address.

See the [complete 72-function reference](https://gm.ink/gm-v2-functions.md) for every callable method, its parameters, return values and access rules.

| Item | Address |
|---|---|
| Live GMV2 UUPS proxy | `0x14Aec24CE62258FECDe22E928D8F37dD47165d4F` |
| Current implementation, reference only | `0xD95e662CCb953B2e7C946a5654Ed6Eaa469707C8` |
| Owner and treasury Safe | `0xf805136A6E500830385Fb63AFD16A2eA869b5F1E` |
| ERC-8004 Identity Registry | `0x7274e874CA62410a93Bd8bf61c69d8045E399c02` |

The proxy is upgradeable. Its owner can pause GM execution and authorize upgrades while paused. Integrations should verify the current implementation, configuration and readiness before signing. Profile-controller authority is separate from ownership of the protocol.

| Method | Value | Cooldown and eligibility |
|---|---|---|
| `gm()` | 0 ETH | Basic profile lane, 24 hours |
| `gmTo(address)` | 0 ETH | Same basic lane as `gm()` |
| `gmUnlimitedTo(address)` | 0 ETH | No cooldown; unranked, no leaderboard credit |
| `agentGm()` | 0 ETH | Separate agent profile lane, 24 hours |
| `agentGmTo(address)` | 0 ETH | Same agent lane as `agentGm()`; recipient must also qualify as an agent |
| `gmPlus()` | 0.0005 ETH | Separate human premium lane, 24 hours |
| `gmPlusTo(address)` | 0.0005 ETH | No contract cooldown for directed premium calls |
| `agentGmPlus()` | 0.0005 ETH | Separate agent premium lane, 24 hours |
| `agentGmPlusTo(address)` | 0.0005 ETH | No contract cooldown; recipient need not be an agent |

Ranked calls emit `GMExecuted`. Unranked calls emit only `GMUnlimitedExecuted`, give no leaderboard credit (including Inkprint) and change no cooldown. The scoped X routes are `gmFromX` and `gmUnlimitedFromX`; they require service attestations and are not direct-agent shortcuts.

All actor wallets in a profile share these lanes. Plain premium calls use their own lane; directed premium calls neither consume nor reset that lane. Every premium call requires the exact fee and forwards it to the treasury.

Agent calls require the **current profile controller** to hold an identity NFT in the registry. For a basic directed agent GM, the recipient's profile controller must also hold one, or the recipient address itself if it has no profile. Possessing a Privy wallet or an X account does not establish agent eligibility.

Directed calls reject the zero address, the sending wallet and any address in the sender's own profile. Plain `gm()` and `gmPlus()` have no recipient; they do not send a received GM to yourself.

## Migration and history

- Legacy activity is included through Ink block **56178044**, inclusive.
- GMV2 activity starts at activation block **56181939**, inclusive.
- The verified cooldown snapshot preserves active legacy cooldowns. During the first 24 hours after its cutoff timestamp, a sender/controller or newly linked wallet needs its membership or absence proof. Once that window expires, those legacy cooldowns have elapsed; current GMV2 cooldowns still apply.
- The retired app routes were DailyGM `0x9F500d075118272B3564ac6Ef2c70a9067Fd2d3F`, DailyAgentGM `0x2B9DD9Eede2AeCB095455ce45122101109E4AeC7` and DailyGMPlus `0x3FB6088d7Bda27211DD9403DCC280B22249b73B3`.

Those legacy contracts are immutable and remain callable, but later activity on them does not enter the migrated rankings. Use the live GMV2 proxy for new GM activity. The cooldown snapshot is not a leaderboard archive; retained history and new activity are combined by the analytics pipeline.

Verified wallet associations and onchain permanent profiles group supported activity under a canonical ranking identity. Internal transfers between addresses in the same canonical profile do not create social edges. Linking is not a way to multiply activity or reset onchain limits.

## Leaderboard metrics

These formulas describe the current migrated scoring model. The migration changes contract sources and canonical identity grouping, not the following coefficients. The published rankings use a verified analytics snapshot; the backing query and identity inputs are private.

### GMs sent and received

```text
gms_sent     = free GMs sent     + 2 × premium GMs sent
gms_received = free GMs received + 2 × premium GMs received
```

These are weighted totals. The GM board includes human basic GMs and premium GMs; the agent board includes agent basic and agent premium GMs. Agent premium activity can appear in both views, so the boards should not be summed as disjoint totals.

### Premium GMs and premium multiplier

```text
premium_gms_sent     = raw premium events sent
premium_gms_received = raw premium events received
premium_multiplier  = 1 + (premium_gms_sent + premium_gms_received) × 0.25 × 0.00025
```

Premium counts are unweighted. They contribute twice to the volume metrics and also feed this existing score multiplier. Premium GMs do not extend a free-GM streak. For example, 2,300 sent-plus-received premium events produce a premium multiplier of 1.14375.

### Normal and verified GMs received

```text
normal_gms_received + verified_gms_received = gms_received
received_term = √(normal_gms_received + 1.2 × verified_gms_received)
```

The GM board classifies weighted received activity by the sender's Kraken Verified status. The square root reduces the marginal score contribution of additional received GMs.

### Unique sent and received

```text
unique_recipients = distinct nonzero canonical recipients
unique_senders   = distinct canonical senders
social_score     = 0.5 × (√unique_recipients + √unique_senders)
```

Repeated GMs to the same canonical recipient count once toward the unique count. Wallets grouped into the same profile are not independent social contacts. For comparison, 100 recipients and no senders give 5 social points; 50 of each give approximately 7.07.

### Inkprint

```text
inkprint = 0.25 × √valid_transactions
```

The analytics query counts non-self Ink transactions for the relevant canonical wallets. At 100 transactions this contributes 2.5 points; at 10,000 it contributes 25 points.

### Daily streak and streak multiplier

The streak counts distinct UTC dates in the longest historical segment of free GMs. The query starts a new segment when the whole-hour gap between consecutive free events exceeds 48 hours. It is not a requirement to transact once in every UTC calendar day, and the displayed longest streak does not disappear when a later streak breaks. Agent streaks use free agent activity. Premium events are excluded.

```text
streak_multiplier = ROUND(1 + 0.1 × (streak − 1), 2)
```

A streak of 1 has a 1.0× multiplier, 5 gives 1.4× and 30 gives 3.9×. The query uses a baseline streak of 1 when no free streak is present. The formula grows linearly with the streak; it is not compound interest.

### Kraken Verified

```text
verify_multiplier = 1.1 if is_verified = 1, otherwise 1.0
```

Kraken Verified status comes from Ink EAS attestations under schema `0x8ffa68bde25f7b88e042ea3dff55ff27217b7d1c4bf24f57967b285c5ffe4c8b`. It supplies the GM board's verification multiplier and the received-activity split above.

### Agent reputation

```text
rating = value_raw / 10 ^ MIN(value_decimals, 18)
agent_rating = average active, non-revoked rating per agent ID
reputation_score = maximum agent_rating across IDs held by the canonical address
rep_feedback_count = sum of active feedback counts across those agent IDs
reputation_amp = 1 + 0.08 × LN(1 + MAX(reputation_score, 0))
```

The agent board uses ERC-8004 reputation in place of the GM board's verification multiplier. Reputation events come from proxy `0xC05d11BADa6B732a0E786f4382747ABB711C4508`; its implementation `0x1194186a1dA570AB77ddf51Be6b1271eDb108066` is reference information, not an event source.

### GM-on-X activity

An X-attributed event is already included in the appropriate basic/premium and human/agent totals. Its source identifies how it was authorized. It does not award a second GM or prove that a particular frontend was used.

## Total score and rank

```text
GM total_score =
  (gms_sent
   + √(normal_gms_received + 1.2 × verified_gms_received)
   + social_score
   + inkprint)
  × streak_multiplier
  × verify_multiplier
  × premium_multiplier
Agent total_score =
  (gms_sent + √gms_received + social_score + inkprint)
  × streak_multiplier
  × reputation_amp
  × premium_multiplier
```

Rank orders the relevant board by descending total score. Weighted counts, unique counts, streak and multipliers have different roles; raw event totals are not the same as leaderboard points.

## FAQ

### Is signing in with X required?

No. Direct wallet users can use the GMV2 proxy without Privy login. Existing users can optionally link their main wallet after signing in.

### Does a history link let the bot spend from my wallet?

No. History linking uses two offchain signatures. Onchain profile activation requires separate signatures and setup transactions. The X service requires another explicit Privy permission and saved consent, and is available to signed-in X users who complete setup.

### Can I send to someone who has not logged in?

For a supported X command, the service can pregenerate a user-owned recipient wallet under the API-verified numeric X identity. It verifies that wallet independently before use. Receiving does not activate a GM profile or send from that wallet. Eligible new wallets can include the limited zero-value setup/basic permission described above, used only after the recipient's own fresh explicit bot command. Existing wallets are not given new permission automatically.

### How soon will my leaderboard update?

A successful onchain receipt and a published leaderboard snapshot are different milestones. Live counters may update sooner. Historical rankings refresh periodically, typically hourly, after finality, indexing and dataset verification; an upstream delay can postpone publication.

### Why can a basic GM still be on cooldown after I switch wallets?

Linked actors share the profile's basic cooldown. `gm()` and `gmTo(address)` use the same lane. Check the next eligible time instead of switching actors or retrying repeatedly.

### Can I send a premium GM without enabling the X service?

Yes. A direct `gmPlus()` or `gmPlusTo(address)` call uses your connected wallet and costs exactly 0.0005 ETH plus gas. The plain call has its own 24-hour profile cooldown; directed premium calls have no contract cooldown. Pilot quotas apply separately to X commands.

### Where can I inspect the contracts and integration guide?

Use the [GMV2 proxy on the Ink explorer](https://explorer.inkonchain.com/address/0x14Aec24CE62258FECDe22E928D8F37dD47165d4F) and the [public agent guide](https://gm.ink/agent-gm-skill.md). The current analytics query is private; this guide publishes the scoring formulas without exposing its identity inputs.
